VERSE 1

Horse-fly came to stay with us for a temporary time
Trouble seeking loud pariah, to our place she was assigned
With guarded toleration we prayed the time would go by quick
That was supposed to be the plan, but the plan became a trick

VERSE 2

Female horse flies feed on blood and live in rotting logs
Painful bites from knife like jaws can slice the flesh apart
Their agility to avoid the swat makes them think they’re hot to trot
When the itch becomes a ***** the insect must be stopped

VERSE 3

Horse-fly alone and bone dry perfumigated snuggy skirt
Disruptive and corruptive, the cackle feeds the flirt
Then the day arrived Horse-fly would fly away to our delight
But she didn’t make that flight so depraved she felt it was her right
To sink her teeth in the neck of an angel
That innocent benevolent angel
Was sacrificed but would soar to greater heights
And in the end stay loyal to your friends and keep an eye out for the Horse-fly
